Why We Made the Change
From day one, My Creation Haven has been more than just a place to paint pottery or play games. We’re a space where imagination is encouraged, families connect, and creativity thrives. Now, as a nonprofit, our focus is fully on service and impact—not profit.
By transitioning to a nonprofit, we’re aligning our structure with our purpose: to make hands-on arts, educational experiences, and wholesome recreation accessible to all, especially those who need it most.
🎨 What This Means for the Communities?
✅ Offer more community programs
We'll be hosting free and low-cost events, workshops, and art activities for schools, senior centers, shelters, and underprivileged neighborhoods.
✅ Partner with local organizations
From schools to churches to after-school programs, we’re building partnerships to reach more people through collaborative, meaningful projects.
✅ Provide donor-supported access
Soon, generous supporters will be able to sponsor pottery classes, VR experiences, and creative kits for families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them.
✅ Launch memberships that give back
Our new $250/year family membership not only offers exciting benefits (more on that soon!), but helps fund our mission-driven work in the community.
✅ Work toward 501(c)(3) status
We’re in the process of preparing our application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, which will allow us to access more grant funding and offer tax-deductible receipts to our supporters in the future.
